Description
Do you have dreams of sticking a 42 or 46 tooth cassette on your bike, only to have them dashed against the rocks of reality when you realize that you’ll need a new derailleur to make it work. This simple, inexpensive little sliver wonder will set you free. It works with most old-school long-cage derailleurs meant for 3 x drive trains by dropping them a little lower off the derailleur hanger, allowing it to work with larger cassettes. It takes a little bit of skill to dial it in, you know with those three adjustment screws and a proper chain length, but once you do, it’s like having a new bike, almost. Now that’s xBiking.
This is a weird item to have on a wheel building site, but we are such huge fans of this simple upgrade, we are duty-bound to make sure everybody who needs a derailleur-extender gets one.
