This tool isn’t one hundred percent necessary, a screwdriver and a spoke wrench will get the job done. But we certainly recommend it. Having this instrument is a major quality of life improvement. The tool interfaces with the end of the nipple, holding it in place and allowing for quick frustration free installation. It comes with replacement nipple holder do-dads. They’re slightly delicate, so use care when turning the nipple.
