It&#8217;s also a big quality-of-life improvement over using the bike forks or the frame to build and true a wheel.<\/p>\n<p>Like most truing stands, this can be used to dish the wheel, by flipping\u00a0 it and comparing the difference\u00a0 in distance between the drive-side to the non-drive-side of the wheel.<\/p>\n<p>If you plan to use this with one of our thru axle builds, be sure to buy one of our 12mm axle adapters, either <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wheelbuildingkit.com\/store\/product\/12mm-thru-axle-to-quick-release-converter-caps\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this one<\/a> <\/strong>or <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wheelbuildingkit.com\/store\/product\/12mm_qr_adapter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">that one<\/a>.<\/strong> This will adapt the hub to to fit this stand which is designed for QR hubs.
