The Sun Ringle CR-18 700c rim achieves the happy medium between cost and durability. Its sidewall accepts rim brake pads, while the deep box section is plenty strong for disc brake use too. One wheel, four possible bike configurations: QR + disc, QR + rim brake, 12 mm through axle + disc, or 12 mm through axle + rim brake. Is this xbiking?<\/p>\n
Spokes are Sapim Race 2.0\/1.8\/2.0 mm double-butted stainless. Double butted spokes assure a long lasting wheel. DT Swiss 12mm brass nipples are corrosion-resistant and far more forgiving when you\u2019re truing a wheel years down the road.<\/p>\n
The kit is designed for a 36 hole, three-cross lacing pattern, built to power a headlight or charge a phone over the long haul.<\/p>\n
